Marvel Studios just completed its 35th project and seventh Disney+ show with Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel, whose sixth episode just premiered on the streaming network and completed Kamala Khan’s origin story. The Ms. Marvel series was a huge success. It took months to shoot and reshoot, as well as many criticisms.
While the finale of season 2 brought out some new exciting developments for Marvel’s latest superhero, there have been recent reports that hint at some possible directions Marvel is considering for its Ms. Marvel series.
The Episode 6 after-credits scene nearly went comic-accurate when Kamala Khan turned into Carol Danvers. Concept art also revealed how Kamala developed her cosmic superpowers. Fans will be curious about what is missing after an exclusive conversation with the show’s two directors.
Ms. Marvel Director Tease Fun Deleted Moments

In an exclusive interview with Richard Nebens from The Direct, Ms. Marvel directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah discussed some deleted scenes they wanted fans to view.
When asked about what scenes were deleted from the final cut, El Arbi shared that it was mostly the use of “visual ideas,” including a couple of specific moments from either Episode 4 or Episode 5. He described it as “a nice visual transition between multiple sets,” but because it wasn’t used, he hopes to use the idea in a future MCU project if he gets the opportunity:
“Yeah there were a lot visuals. We had visuals from the beginning. That was what we wanted to do throughout the series. While some of the content was created, others were shot. We decided that we needed to be able to concentrate on the story and not let it distract from the main flow of the program. One shot was particularly cool, Episode 4, or 5. It’s not on the TV show, but we could still make a movie out of it. The visual transition was quite nice between the different sets. “

Fallah also shared that Kamala was hit with a basketball in her head during Kamala’s Ms. Marvel costume unveil. Fallah shared that this was caused by kids on nearby courts. Fallah believes it is still a hilarious scene, and has asked Marvel to make the video public.
“She also comes in costume and says hello to the little girl. Then, boom! [Kamala] lands a basketball on her head and falls. It’s one the children who throws the ball. We find that this shot is so funny and will be asking Marvel for it to go on YouTube.
Will Ms. Marvel Deleted Scenes Come to Light?
Deleted scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been a hot topic in recent weeks as Phase 4 continues to expand in 2022.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness saw a few potentially crazy moments including Baron Mordo’s passing at Scarlet Witches’ hands and Ryan Reynolds’ first sighting of Deadpool.
Thor has also its moments that did not make it into the final cut of film. These include a scene featuring Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster and Peter Dinklage playing Eitri, and one introducing Game of Thrones Star Lena Headey.
For the MCU’s Disney+ series, deleted scenes can be brought back to life after they have been fully aired on Disney+. This includes the ones from Hawkeye with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. Although it is not clear when Ms. Marvel will receive the same treatment, fans can expect to have fun with something as funny and well-researched.
This scene with Kamala Khan, in her new supersuit would have been a memorable one. It gave fans an unforgettable experience and offered another chance to see the new MCU costume. Ms. Marvel ‘s first official set is not her last. She has a bright future ahead of her in The Marvels as well as in TV and movies later on.
All six episodes of Ms. Marvel can be viewed on Disney+.
