Disney+ gave Marvel Studios the freedom to explore genres and format that weren’t possible before. WandaVision was the first sitcom produced by the studio. Sheulk: Attorney At Law will now dive into legal comedy as Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters makes her debut as a super-powered lawyer in the MCU.
Up until now, the deepest exploration of the law in the MCU came with Daredevil, as Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock served as a lawyer-by-day and superhero-by-night. Rumours have circulated that Cox may reprise his role as The Man Without Fear in She-Hulk ,, having recently assisted Peter Parker in Spider-Man. No Way Home ..
The Avengers are long-suffering from any legal consequences. The Sokovia Accords of Captain America Civil War were the only significant ramifications.
With Walters set to join the fray as a hero of the MCU, they will soon be able to access their own legal counsel. This has been shown in a teaser video.
She-Hulk References Hulk & Thor in Hidden Message
Marvel Studios has released a poster for the Sheulk: Attorney At Law Disney+ series. It contains references to Ultron, Thor and other characters. As shared by @writtenbysara, the poster was distributed in gift bags at San Diego Comic-Con to all who visited the Disney+ booth.

The poster features Jennifer Walters’ super-law firm, with a hotline: “Call Now! 1-877-SHE-HULK.” Dialing this hotline will connect callers to a hidden audio message from the “superhero law division at GLK&H.”
Walters: “Hi, you’ve reached the superhero law division at GLK&H.”
Unknown Voice: “Ok, this time, record it as She-Hulk.”
The message goes on to ask callers if they have ever “accidentally [created] a sentient robot who… tried to destroy the world” or if they are an “Asgardian God who leaves a giant burning imprint… every time [they] arrive on Earth:”
Walters: “What? They can’t see my face, don’t you know? Uh, okay, whatever. We value your call. We are unable to answer your call right now. However, please keep the phone ringing to learn more about GLK&H. Have you been fined 1000s of dollars worth of damage for the city you were trying to protect? Is it possible that you created a sentient robot to try and destroy the world. Perhaps you are an Asgardian God who burns private property each time you visit Earth .”
Unknown Voice: “Whoop, whoop! She’s talking about .”
. I think she is.
Walters: “We’ve got your back. The superhuman law section at GLK&H is here to help you fight for the rights of everyone else. That’s why superheroing is so important. Here are some testimonials of our clients who have been pleased with the service. This is how we add a client ?”

The MCU’s Lack of Legal Consequences
The Avengers are known for causing great damage in the name of protecting the planet. As the hotline message explains, Thor leaves a huge Bifrost-shaped footprint on the ground each time he visits another world. Tony Stark and Bruce Banner collaborated to develop an artificial robot capable of destroying a European city.
The Sokovia Accords are the closest to a legal consequence the MCU delivered so far, but even these quickly vanished after Captain America Civil War . It is not known if the Hero-Controlling Laws are still in force in that capacity. However, it seems like all of the Phase 4 heroes are in violation of them.
Jennifer Walters (aka She-Hulk) is an attorney who represents superheroes. Perhaps the Sokovia Accords could be incorporated into the Disney+ series. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios did hint that She–Hulk may include surprise characters every week. One can only speculate which heroes might need legal help.
Perhaps that the MCU will be the final project for the legal comedy to deal with the legal consequences of the Avengers’ actions. The Avengers might need a new benefactor as Tony Stark is no longer available to cover the damage.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere on Wednesday, August 17, exclusively on Disney+.
