What If…? marked a significant step in Phase 4. It helped to introduce the MCU’s Multiverse. Additionally, it was Marvel Studios’ first venture into animation. The first season featured Captain Carter and Doctor Strange Supreme. Season 2 is expected to deliver many more.
The official production brief Moon Knight previously verified What if …? Season 2 was to release by the end 2022.. Meanwhile, Disney+ Netherlands sent out a newsletter claiming the animated premiere was set for July 20, but obviously, that proved to be false.
Now Marvel Studios has confirmed that What if …? will be coming to Disney+. It appears that Season 2 has been delayed.
What If…? Season 2 Delayed to 2023
Marvel Studios announced officially at San Diego Comic-Con that What if …? was being produced by Marvel Studios. Season 2 will not be released until early 2023.. Season 3 is already in development on Disney+, but there has not yet been a confirmed release window.
Official Disney Listings claim that the Multiversal sequel was scheduled for release late 2022 on Disney+.
Total Film has confirmed that the heroes “saving our multiverse, one at a time” will include Hela and Captain Carter as well as Scarlet Witches, Iron Man (Black Widow), Doctor Strange, Doctor Strange and many more.
Discussing Film described Season 2’s scenarios as “a Hela Story,” “Odin and The Mandarin,” “Captain Carter and Winter Soldier” and “Tony Stark on Sakaar, Valkyrie, and Hulk.” ”
Murphy’s Multiverse revealed the panel included confirmation inspired by the 1602 comic storyline which took place in a world where Marvel’s heroes instead existed in the Elizabethan era.
