The next few months are going to be busy for Marvel Studios. They will close the year with Black Panther – Wakanda Forever at the theater. The studio also has an impressive streaming lineup. This includes the charming Groot-centric series I Am Groot .
The animated shorts focus on the living Tree from the Guardians of the Galaxy series. He makes mischief throughout the universe. The series is set to debut on August 10 with little known about it up to this point.
This is because fans of San Diego Comic-Com got a first look at the Disney+ MCU project.
I Am Groot Releases First Trailer
As part of the Marvel Studios Animation San Diego Comic-Con panel the studio unveiled the trailer for its upcoming I Am Groot . series. The announcement also confirmed that the series will consist of five shorts premiering on August 10.
This brief clip shows Groot’s journey across intergalactic locations.
This included a look at the ship where the tiny Flora Colossus is going to be hanging out.
The character appears to be getting into all kinds of hijinx when he is paired with another Groot.
He seems to also befriend a furry friend of his.
It won’t all be fun and games, as he can be seen taking part in explosive action in the trailer.
The trailer came even with a new poster.
