Marvel Studios Reveals Phase 5 of the MCU’s Lineup

Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced Phase 5’s full roster for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

During Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Feige announced that Phase 4 was over, revealing the upcoming titles for Phase 5 of the MCU. What the hell is Phase 5? Feige asked the question during panel before going through a listing of titles. Phase 5 of the MCU will consist of Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, Disney+’s Secret Invasion, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Echo, The Marvels, Loki Season 2, Blade, Ironheart, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Captain America: New World Order, an eighteen episode first season of Daredevil: Born Again, and Thunderbolts to close it out.

Marvel Studios revealed the release dates for its next projects and introduced new logos during this panel. On top of that, trailers were shown for Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, Secret Invasion, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 , She-Hulk: Attorney At Law ,, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever . In addition to the Phase 5 announcement, it was announced that the Multiverse Saga would be the next MCU arc.

So, Phase 4 will conclude with two projects: Disney+’s Shehulk: Attorney At Law and Black Panther – Wakanda Forever .. Marvel Studios released a new trailer for She-Hulk during the panel as well, which featured Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk adjusting to her new powers as she undergoes Hulk training with her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), figures out her work-life balance and routinely breaks the fourth wall. The trailer also gave us a glimpse at Charlie Cox, his return to Daredevil’s role, and his red-and-yellou suit.

While Black Panther : Wakanda forever showcasing Tenoch Huerta’s role as Namor, Sub-Mariner, and giving a glimpse at Atlantis in the MCU, it also teased the possibility of a new Black Panther hero. While Phase 4 is coming to a close, the long-rumored Thunderbolts will close out Phase 5 of the MCU. While the film is in production, no release date or cast has been revealed.

Marvel Studios gave a glimpse into the future MCU at the panel. They finally confirmed Avengers, The Kang Dynasty as well as Avengers Secret Wars ,. This was long rumored before this announcement. Both films are expected to release in theaters in 2025, with Kang Dynasty set for theatrical release on May 2 of that year, and Secret Wars for release on Nov. 7, 2025.
