A Marvel Snap player shares a dastardly disruptor deck that’s designed to stop opponents from being able to play the game at all.
A Redditor shared a Marvel Snap deck that brought them to Infinite, and it’s sure to frustrate any opponents who find themselves on the other side of it.
Reddit user u/OntesHS shared the deck to the Marvel Snap subreddit. Claiming to be at a Collection Level of 2500, the gamer said that the deck brought them to the top rank of Infinite after being trapped in the Galactic stage. The deck revolves around filling up the opponent’s board in order to stop them from activating any late-game combinations that have become prevalent in many high-level decks. This particular disruption deck contains The Hood, Ant-Man, Sunspot, Black Widow, Viper, Green Goblin, The Punisher, Debrii, Polaris, Shang-Chi, Gamora and Doctor Octopus.
Killer Marvel Snap Decks
Cards like Black Widow, Viper, Green Goblin, Debrii, Polaris and Doctor Octopus each have On-Reveal effects that disrupt the opponent while steadily filling locations with useless cards or activating an opposing card too early in the case of Doc Ock. While weakening the opponent’s potential power with some of Marvel Snap‘s most frustrating abilities, the deck has several cards that scale well or synergize exceptionally with a full board. These cards are Ant-Man, Sunspot and Punisher, but Gamora is included as well since it is easier to predict where someone will play a card if there are fewer options for them. Finally, Shang-Chi is there to destroy any cards with nine power or above should the enemy get their combo off or Doc Ock pulls an exceptionally powerful card. The deck’s title, Mojo In / Punisher Out, may indicate that they want to swap out Punisher for Mojo, as Mojo does receive an additional six power when both sides of a location are filled.
Although this deck is seeing success at a high level, it isn’t the most accessible deck for players at lower Collection Levels as many cards are acquired in Pool 3 and above. A different Reddit user shared their Control Sera deck that has repeatedly helped them climb the ranked ladder. The deck is extremely flexible and capable of quickly adding power to an otherwise empty board. On top of its effectiveness, it only requires two cards from Pool 3 — Mysterio and Sera. The others can be attained early on in Pool 1 and Pool 2 making it a deck that new players can realistically work toward and benefit from early on. The deck builder provided a Marvel Snap cheatsheet on how to play the deck including turn-six combinations, optimized card timings and more.
Marvel Snap is available for free with optional microtransactions on iOS, Android and Microsoft Windows.
