Marvel Studios’ Hall H San Diego Comic-Con panel featured a lot of announcements and reveals. This included release dates for many of their Phase 6 and 5 projects.
Phase 5 will kick off with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, releasing on Feb. 17, 2023. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lililly, and Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror will reprise their roles in the film.
Quantumania will be followed by Disney+’s Secret Invasion, which will bow in spring 2023. This crossover series will feature Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos. They’ll be facing off against the Skrulls, a group of infiltrating Skrulls that have been on Earth for many years. Kingsley Ben-Adir stars alongside Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman. Rege-Jean Page, Cobie Smulders, and Olivia Colman are also featured in the series.
Marvel then will kick-off the summer 2023 movie seasons with Guardians of the Galaxy Volume. 3 , will again see them tasked with protecting the universe against a mysterious threat. Summer 2023 also will see the debuts Echo and Loki Season 2. Ironheart will follow in fall 2023, while Agatha: Coven of Chaos–which was previously titled Agatha: House of Harkeness–will premiere on the streamer during winter 2023.
Phase 5 will continue with The Marvels on July 28, 2023, and Blade on Nov. 3, 2023. This will lead into 2024, which will feature the 18-episode Daredevil: Born Again series in the spring, Captain America: New World Order on May 3, 2024 and Thunderbolts on July 26, 2024.
Phase 6 begins on November 8, 2024, and Fantastic Four ,, which will replace Jon Watts as director. The new Avengers films will follow: Avengers The Kang Dynasty on May 2, 2025,, and Avengers Secret Wars on Nov. 7. 2025.
Despite the many announcements, several projects have not yet received release dates. These include Shang-Chi Deadpool HTML5_ and the untitled X-Men movie. On the TV side, we are still waiting on dates for Armor Wars, Nova, Wonder Man and an untitled series based in Wakanda.
Before Phases 5 and 6, Marvel will conclude Phase 4 with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Aug. 17 and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Nov. 11.
