Thor – Love and Thunder featured an array of gods in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The arrival of Christian Bale as Gorr, the God Butcher was the catalyst that allowed the Marvel Cinematic Universe to show a multitude of gods. A good portion of these were killed by the villain. After Gorr’s crime spree, Chris Hemsworth plays Thor and seeks out the assistance of Omnipotent City’s more powerful gods, Russell Crowe’s Zeus.
Unfortunately Zeus and his fellow comrades were not fazed at the threat from Gorr. This led Thor and his friends to take on the Necrosword-wielding antagonist on their own. The Omnipotent City sequence had plenty of fun Easter eggs that tied in to the bigger MCU as Team Thor faced their new enemies.

Thor4 Set Photo Highlights Wakandan god
Luca Vannella was Chris Hemsworth’s hairdresser in Thor : Love and Thunder ,. He shared a series of photos that show behind-the scenes set photos with some of the Gods of Omnipotent City.
Vannella shared the first group photo of the make-up and hair team for the film. It also includes the wigs used by the gods.
Vannella shared several images of the gods in his tweets, beginning with Akosia Sabet’s Bastet. Wakanda’s goddess.
The character appeared briefly in Thor 4. , Bastet is directly below Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor.
Thor4 Also revealed was a Japanese goddess, played by Kuni Hashimamoto. The credits list the Jademurai God as the protagonist, although it is not clear if this was actually based on any real deity.
Another god featured in this post is an Elche Goddess. She seems to take inspiration from the Lady Elche (an ancient bust depicting a pagan goddess wearing wheels on her head)
Will Bast Take a Part in Black Panther 2
Given that the plot details of Black Panther : Wakanda Forever are still under wraps it is not clear if Bastet will be making an appearance in this sequel. Akosia Sabet’s appearance as Bastet in the Black Panther franchise is, however, a fitting tribute to Wakandan culture.
Given that Thor : Love and Thunder ‘s mid-credits sequence confirmed that Zeus was still alive after his defeat by Thor, it is possible that Thor would feature the return to Omnipotent City. Zeus’s promise to the end of Thor4 also indicates that he will gather the gods from Omnipotent City, so humans can fear them again.
It’s not known if Zeus and other noble gods will join Zeus in his vendetta, should it proceed. Most likely, some gods will pull back and this would lead to an exciting clash at Omnipotent City in Thor5 . This allows the MCU’s full display of Bastet’s power, giving fans an idea of just how powerful this Wakandan God is.
