After Eternals’ release, it quickly became the movie that polarized the universe. While some fans loved the nearly three-hour-long origin story of this superhero team, others found it to be a bit too long. The post-credits scene in which Harry Styles, better known as Starfox, appeared as Eros was the one that grabbed everybody’s attention. The global superstar even came out and talked about how “grateful” he was to be able to appear in Eternals, so many fans have wondered where he will appear next.
Styles has been a celebrity of note for a while. However, his most fame came from the music business, so many were surprised to learn that he was a part of an entertainment company as large as the MCU. Eros is the brother to Thanos and has been expected back since his appearance in Eternals. He offered to save Arishem’s team members.
However, since the movie came out, there have been no further developments on Styles or the sequel for Eternals. While many expected that there would be an official announcement at San Diego Comic-Con
, the panel’s focus was on larger MCU projects and the Hall H panel of Marvel Studios. Kevin Feige, however, was able post-panel to give some insight into Styles, and whether fans should expect to see him soon.
Kevin Feige teases the return of Harry Styles
MTV News’ Josh Horowitz questioned Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios about the future for Harry Styles and the MCU. Feige teased that Styles will have a role to play at some point in the franchise’s next few years, and even used the word “exciting:”
“It’s exciting to watch the adventures of Eros & Pip. “
Styles made his MCU debut in the post-credits scene of Eternals as Eros, the brother of Thanos, alongside a character known as Pip the Troll.
Where Will Harry Styles Show Up Next?
The most probable project Styles will be in is Eternals2 . Even though there is no official release date for that movie, and there hasn’t even been an announcement that it is happening, the ending of the first movie features text that reads “ETERNALS will return. “
There has been talk of Styles starting a solo show, however nothing has happened to that point. Marvel Studios may make a Disney+ series about Styles’ adventures and cosmic side of MCU if he gets a lot of screen time in his next appearance.
Whatever Styles’ next adventure is, it remains to be decided. However, Kevin Feige certainly seems to have some plans. Styles fans can be assured that Disney+ is excited “ to see the next chapter of Eros, no matter what it may look like.
