– Deadpool Easter Egg
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe grows with new Phase 4 characters, franchises and franchises. The same is true for the Marvel-based Disney experiences that have been introduced in theme parks and on Disney Cruise Line. The second ever Avengers Campus, which includes Guardians of the Galaxy , as well as Worlds of Marvel aboard Disney Cruise Line, has been opened at Disneyland Paris. It features a brand new ride featuring the Avengers and an unexpected Easter egg.
Avengers Assemble is an Iron Man themed indoor roller coaster that’s only available at Disneyland Paris’ Avengers Campus. The ride tells the story that Kree warheads have been sent straight to Earth by Kree. Since all other Avengers are facing Avenger-level threats, Iron Man and Captain Marvel are recruited to assist Stark Industries in their new hypersonic vehicles.
Another reminder that Avengers Assembled: Flight Force would not be an adventure with Marvel without its trademark Easter eggs. This ride is a treasure trove full of connections and references. It appears Disney Imagineering included an allusion to one of the most famous characters on the cusp of making his MCU debut.
Disney’s Avengers Campus Has a Deadpool Easter Egg

During one of the pre-show scenes for Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, when FRIDAY and an audio-animatronic Iron Man are searching for any available Avengers, what appears to be a file for Deadpool‘s Wade Wilson makes an appearance.
His card shows his signature symbol, and confirms that he is “active.” However, fans shouldn’t expect him to show up on the ride as the file also reads “Do Not Affiliate,” with an additional comment saying “No Thanks. “

Despite Deadpool being an Marvel character, Ryan Reynolds was the franchise owner and independent from the MCU. This all changed when Disney bought Fox. Now, Deadpool3 ,, starring Reynolds, and directed by Shawn Levy is in production at Marvel Studios.
This isn’t Disney’s first inclusion of a Marvel franchise that was once owned by Fox in an attraction.

Is Deadpool Disney’s Character?
The fact that an R-rated Merc with a Mouth has made it to a Disney Park is a surprise considering the Disney Parks have been family-friendly.
But, Disney Imagineers wanted to include Deadpool. This was how they did it.
Affiliating him with “Do Not Affiliate” signifies that you acknowledge his character, but also communicates that he won’t likely be walking the streets of Avengers Campus and interacting in any way with the more child-friendly characters.
This Wade Wilson Easter egg is a nod to the MCU fans, but it also shows how innovative the Disney Parks are with MCU-based attractions. Even though Disney has described their theme park and cruise line experiences as “a Variant of the main MCU timeline” and not MCU canon, that doesn’t mean their rides and shows can’t be just as up-to-date as the fans and studio.
Worlds Of Marvel on the Disney Wish was Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel, before her Disney+ series ended. In the meantime, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man as well as Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel were prominently featured in the parks and on Disney Cruise Line before Ant-Man: Quantumania and The Marvels .
This Avengers Campus Easter egg is an ode to the future and further proof of the current Disney Imagineering.
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris officially open on Wednesday, July 20.
