Since Avengers Endgame ended the Infinity Saga, there has not been much news regarding the next movie teaming up Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Marvel Studios is keeping quiet about its development of the next Avengers movie. Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan teased that Avengers 5 will not release for a while, saying that “we’ve got to figure out a couple of other missions first before we even get there.”
To ease some fan’s concerns, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios promised that Avengers HTML5 will happen ” at some point “ within the MCU. The Marvel boss stated that Phase 4 is focusing on “beginnings “” for the new heroes, before they combine forces.
Ahead of Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated return to San Diego Comic-Con, an update has been posted online for Avengers .
Did Marvel Just Reveal Avengers 5’s Title?”

As first shared on Reddit’s Leaks And Rumors subreddit, trademarks for Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty were officially filed on Friday, July 22 with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for multiple categories of goods & services including film production.
This filing date is notable one day before Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con mega-panel, which will reveal more information about the upcoming MCU titles.

While the owner of the patent is currently hidden, the filer, Mitscherlich, is an attorney’s office that has recently worked with Disney on film production patents for projects like Sneakerella.
It is still unclear if these titles refer to upcoming Avengers movies. However, the timing of the filings suggest that Secret Wars or The Kang Dynasty could be the title for Avengers 5 assuming it’s officially announced by Marvel Studios at Saturday’s MCU Hall H panel.
While he’s unsure if those trademarks are real, Comicbook’s Adam Barnhardt pointed out that Marvel filed its last SDCC reveals with The United States Patent and Trademark Office last July 19, 2019, the day before the studio’s panel at SDCC 2019.
Will Marvel Studios Finally Announce Avengers 5?
While it is anticlimactic to reveal the titles or names of Marvel Studios’ next Avengers films via a leaked trademark list, any updates about these projects are still significant, given the excitement surrounding MCU’s next cross-over movie.
Many would agree it is the right moment for Marvel to unveil its next big Avengers movie. This comes especially since fans worry that Phase 4 will not have an endgame. A good number of MCU fan have voiced concerns regarding Phase 4. They called the slate ” the weakest and an “mixed package. “
Announcing Avengers this year at San Diego Comic-Con will ease these concerns, primarily because it gives Phase 4 a sense for direction. It is not known if Secret Wars and The Kang Dynasty will premiere in Phase 4, or whether the other project will be moved to Phase 5. It is possible that The Kang Dynasty would end up as Phase 4’s Avengers film, with Secret Wars serving as Phase 5’s culmination.
Secret Wars is a long-rumored title for the next Avengers movie. The fact that the title was trademarked before SDCC may be the first hint that Marvel will indeed go with the famous title. It also means that major characters from the comics version, like Doctor Doom or the Fantastic Four would be appearing in the MCU.
