Taika waititi is back in the MCU with Thor – Love and Thunder .. Fans and critics alike loved his last movie, Ragnarok ,. Unfortunately, the latest film has been met with mixed reviews. The movie received mixed reviews. It was given a B+ CinemaScore rating, which is quite low for an Marvel film.
But why are people critiquing the film so much? There are many factors that contribute to the movie’s criticism. Some include poor VFX and not enough Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher. Others are a lackluster cast of VFX artists, as well as an overdose of ridiculous jokes that some people simply can’t stomach.
While the critical reaction may not have been as positive, there are general audiences who seem to be enjoying it. Chief among them is none other than Daredevil‘s Vincent D’Onofrio.
Daredevil’s Kingpin Loves the Thunder
Stars started to share their reactions to Thor : Love and Thunder , and, as you might expect from Stars, there is a lot of praise.
Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio was among those complimenting the movie. A recent tweet of his read, “This, this film right here. I love it.”
Eternals’ Lia McHugh was also among those to post their support, saying: “As always, a spectacular night and another marvel movie you have to go see.”
Xochitl Gomez, from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, noted how the movie was “Absolutely Bonkers:”
“Love & Thunder. It’s absolutely crazy, which is why it makes me so happy. It was amazing last night. Still freaking out! !”
Chris Pratt gave Chris Hemsworth high praise on Instagram, definitely stating how “nobody on Earth is more right [for the role] than [Hemsworth]:”
“This man @chrishemsworth is the best @thorofficial. This is one stud. Wow, what a star. It was a great movie. Forever grateful. Thank you @TaikaWaititi, for including us. We are grateful to all those in Australia that took so good care of us .”
Loki season one director Kate Herron exclaimed how she “laughed,” “cried,” and “laughed again:”

The Divisive Thor Outing
Celebrities are not likely to be surprised by celebrities praising the film. They aren’t likely to discredit it publicly.
Support from other MCU cast members can be a great thing. Others may also enjoy watching how other MCU cast members are involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Vincent D’Onofrio’s fans were thrilled to see Kingpin return in Hawkeye . Recent posts on social media by the actor suggested that he may be returning sooner than expected. The casting report for Alaqua Cox’s spin-off, Echo ,, has apparently confirmed that the crime boss will be there alongside Charlie Cox’s Daredevil.
It’s obvious that audiences are eager to see more D’Onofrio.
Thor can be seen in cinemas around the world, and Echo will likely debut on Disney+ next year.
