Sony Pictures is continuing to expand its Spider-Man Universe, which sits alongside the MCU. New characters have been added to the mix such as Venom from Tom Hardy and Kraven the Hunter by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Madame Web is currently in the limelight. She will be making her feature film debut in next year’s Fifty Shades of Grey s Dakota Johnson.
Madame Web remains elusive even though cameras are rolling ahead of the movie’s October 6 2023, premiere in theaters. Johnson will have a stellar cast surrounding her thanks to the efforts of Euphoria‘s Sydney Sweeney and Parks and Recreation‘s Adam Scott, although there is still no word regarding what roles they will actually play in this Spider-Man spin-off outing.
This new entry will give Madame Web an authentic origin story in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. However, it is not known how this story will come together as production begins. Although that is still true with this latest update, it means fans will now be able to see Dakota Johnson in action as she debuts with Sony’s superhero movie.
Dakota Johnson Seen at Madame Web Set

Twitter user shared the first glimpse of Dakota Johnson at the Sony Pictures’ Madame , set in which she portrays the title character.
The first video, only 7 seconds in length, shows Johnson peeking out from a door. It appears that it is to an unidentified hotel or other similar structure. The rest of the outfit is all black and she’s wearing a red leather jacket.

The second video, 13 Second Video is a short clip that shows Johnson in front of the same doorway. However there aren’t any details about where it might be located within the story.

What’s in Store for Madame Web Solo Movie?
Looking at the videos it is difficult to identify any plot points, considering that there are no references for locations or characters Dakota Johnson has interacted with. Her costume also raises interesting questions about who she is playing in the Spider-Man Universe.
Her costume is reminiscent of Julia Carpenter who has been called Spider-Woman as well as Madame Web in comics. While it is believed that Dakota Johnson will portray Cassandra Webb as Madame Web original, this movie has not premiered for over a year.
It’s great to see Johnson working on Sony’s new Spider-Man movie. The company wants to make a big splash in the future and expand the universe of its beloved characters. Sony is confident that the movie will do better publically than previous outings such as Morbius ..
